The MDR700 underground coring mobile drill rig is a powerful rig that utilizes proven Boart Longyear underground exploration technology like the 700 feed frame and offers wide drilling angles, quick and easy setup, operation, and maintenance, advanced mobility, and engineered safety controls.

TruCore is a first-in-industry integrated core orientation system, designed by drillers, for drillers. The innovation behind TruCore improves productivity and reduces the number of parts drill crews need to maintain a core orientation system which in turn reduces cost. Boart Longyear has a living legacy of delivering innovation in drilling technology. While essential for mapping exploration and mine site development, core orientation is a part of the drilling process that has only experienced incremental product improvements through small changes to the process and equipment, until now.

The LF70, one of the most recognized small-format drills in the industry, is a flyable rig with a depth capacity of 700 m that can be assembled in less than an hour. With its innovative modular design, this lightweight exploration rig is ideal for drilling in remote locations.

This version of the LM™30SS (Skid Steer) drill uses a CAT® 246D Skid Steer carrier to power and transport the drill components. A compact, mobile unit that ensures quick set up time and ease of moving from site to site. The rig utilizes a standard LM30 drill rig and is powered by the 54 kW, CAT C3.3B DIT (turbo) diesel engine. This drill uses the same lightweight control panel and hydraulic system is the same as that on modular LM30. The drill comes integrated with a positioned and a turntable which enables it to drill holes in all angles from vertically up to vertically down.

Designed with power to spare, the LC36 (KWL700) reverse circulation drill is one of the most powerful and reliable RC drills on the market. With proven performance in some of the toughest conditions, the LC 36 is Boart Longyear’s largest drill, with 36 ton pull back capacity.
