Air Compliance Services
The Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) of 1990 requires industries to comply with a number of new regulations governing air emissions. Title I of the CAAA requires sources to reduce levels of emissions in areas of nonattainment for ambient air quality. Title III of the CAAA requires sources to reduce emissions of toxic compounds. Major emission sources are required under Title V to have an operating permit with specific compliance requirements. Section 112(r) of the CAAA require that qualifying facilities must identify and assess their chemical hazards and carry out certain activities designed to reduce the likelihood and severity of accidental chemical releases. CD can prepare risk management plans for regulated facilities to comply with the requirements of 112(r).
