Live Site Dismantling Services
Celtic Recycling carefully plans and executes each live-site dismantling operation in a safe, professional and reliable manner. However complex the site access or dismantling requirements, we have the equipment and personnel to assist.
Precision Concrete Cutting & Drilling
Celtic Recycling is committed to providing a “total package” approach and has invested in modern state of the art cutting equipment designed for the technical demolition of steel, concrete, stone, and masonry or brickwork structures. Utilising diamond cutting techniques our experienced team of Precision Cutting Technicians are able to provide highly skilled precision cutting - even in difficult working conditions, such as confined spaces or working at height.
Hazardous Waste Management
Celtic Recycling is licensed to handle all hazardous wastes encountered during the recovery of electrical equipment,mercury, asbestos, SF6 gas and/or decomposition products, insulating oil and PCBs.
Abnormal Load Movements
Highly experienced in managing and executing abnormal load movements on site, with in-house jacking and winching capacity for heavy loads up to 250 tonnes.
Specialist Plant and Transport
Significant investment in Celtic Recycling’s transport fleet and site-specific plant includes a number of specialist and bespoke designs to provide a flexible and responsive solution to site requirements.
PCB Disposal and Decontamination
Celtic Recycling recognise the range and diversity of potentially contaminated equipment and the difficulty this presents in trying to ensure the safe recovery and destruction of PCBs. We have made significant investment in our PCB-processing capacity at Bridgend and these are now, with our four-tier containment system, the most comprehensive and modern facilities available today.
Oil Recycling
All oil except that found to be contaminated with high levels of PCBs is recycled and reused, typically as a blended lubricating or gear oil.
SF6 Gas Recovery and Disposal
Celtic Recycling have installed storage facilities and recovery systems - incorporating molecular filters - to ensure that we reclaim 100% of the SF6 gas received at our works. The gas is then analysed to establish if it is suitable for recycling. If the gas quality has deteriorated to a point where recycling is not possible, then, it is despatched for destruction at a licensed, high-temperature incineration plant.
High Pressure Cleaning
Celtic Recycling offer a comprehensive environmental clean-up service of areas effected by oil leakage/spillage as well as supplying bunded transportation and correct disposal of oil contaminated spoil.
