Hastings - Low Capacity Flowmeters and Controllers
The HFM/HFC Series of flow instruments is based on a modular design. At the heart of each instrument is an insulated thermal transfer sensor which provides enhanced zero stability. This sensor is designed to be removable/replaceable in the field to virtually eliminate long down time due to clogging. Additionally, the HFM/HFC design features an integral filter and an easily replaceable closed loop electronics card.* The HFC also features an externally adjustable valve with easily replaceable flow orifices. All of these standard features, when coupled with the instrument’s inherent linear response to flow changes and THIs’ long-proven reputation for quality, result in the finest flowmeters and flow controllers available today.
Hastings - Metal Sealed Low Capacity Flowmeters and Controllers
The THI Mass Flow 300 Metaline Series meters and controllers are designed to accurately measure mass flow without corrections or compensations for gas pressure and temperature. They are accurate to better than ±0.75% of full-scale for .005 to 10 slm and ±1.0% of full-scale for 10 to 25 slm. THI mass flow instruments do not require any periodic maintenance under normal operating conditions with clean gases. No damage will occur from the use of moderate overpressures (~500 psi) or overflows. Instruments are normally calibrated with the appropriate standard calibration gas (nitrogen), then a gas conversion factor (GCF) is used to adjust the output for the intended gas. Special calibrations for other gases, such as oxygen, helium and argon, are available upon special order.

Hastings - High Capacity Mass Flowmeters
THI Model HFM-200 Flowmeters with an LFE offer the user fast, accurate measurement of high-capacity gas flows, in ranges from 25 slm up to 15,000 slm. Our laminar flow elements (smoothed, flanged, or threaded) are available in various sizes from 3/8” up to 8”. Used in conjunction with the standard HFM Flowmeter, these units can be combined to measure full-scale flows up to 15,000 slm and feature a typical pressure drop of 4.5” of water at full-scale flow.

Smoke Meter
The CSM2000 is a rugged, rack mountable gas turbine engine exhaust smoke measurement system, fully compliant with SAE ARP1179. It is not intended for in-flight testing.
Gas Panel
Chell has extensive experience of the design and manufacture of gas panels. We have manufactured gas panels for an array of applications including, MOCVD, brewing, super plastic forming of turbine blades and many more. Chell has recently expanded by the acquisition of its vacuum fabrication capability. This now enables us to design and manufacture the entire gas panel - including its instrumentation and gas handling- all on the one site.

Voltage Scanner
The Chell I-Daq is a compact, high accuracy analogue scanner that multiplexes 32 inputs into a single output. The electrical interface is exactly the same as the Pressure Systems pressure scanners. The I-Daq can therefore be used with the Chell CANdaq%, CANdaq or QUADdaq to provide a complete acquisition system. Alternatively, the I-Daq can the be substituted for a pressure scanner in any existing system to provide additional analogue measurements. When used with the ScanDaq, the I-Daq can be used in conjunction with the pressure scanners to provide a multi-input acquisition system.
Miniature Thermocouple Scanner
The Chell T-Daq is an intelligent, compact and high accuracy temperature scanner that multiplexes 8 thermocouple inputs into a single output. The electrical interface is exactly the same as the Pressure Systems DTC pressure scanners. The I-Daq can therefore be purchased with the Chell CANdaq or QUADdaq to provide a complete acquisition system. Alternatively, the I-Daq can be substituted for a pressure scanner in an existing DTC system to provide additional temperature measurements. When used with the QUADdaq, the T-Daq can be used in conjunction with the pressure scanners and the Chell I-Daq to provide a multi-input acquisition system.

Media Intelligent Pressure Scanner
The Model 9022 All-Media Intelligent Pressure Scanner is a ruggedised turnkey pressure acquisition module for multiple measurements of all-media pressures suitable for gas turbine test cell installations. The ruggedised splashproof scanner is designed to interface up to twelve (12) Series 9400 All-Media Pressure Transducers (or third party transducers) to an Ethernet interface. The 9022 provides a low pass anti-aliasing filter for each channel. In addition, 5 VDC signals can be measured on any unused input channel. The 9022 also provides a precision +5 or +10 VDC excitation source to power external transducers.
Pressure Scanners
The Model 9116 Pneumatic Intelligent Pressure Scanner is a completely self-contained high performance pressure acquisition module for multiple measurements of dry, non-corrosive gases. The scanner integrates 16 silicon piezoresistive pressure sensors of any pressure range with a 32-bit microprocessor in a compact, low cost package.
