Implementation and Project Management Services

Focused on achieving lasting development impact, our project management units, consisting of associates, managers, and directors, use a comprehensive set of tools to meet and exceed client expectations. Chemonics’ corporate standards for project excellence, AIMS, are organized under the four AIMS components—achieve, innovate, measure, and share—which define and describe processes and procedures that enable, enhance, and ensure that project performance leads to the development impact that every Chemonics project is expected to achieve.

Local Capacity Building Services

Designed to maximize impact and sustainability, our programs emphasize local capacity building for staff and partners. For staff, we offer numerous mentoring and shadowing programs that allow staff to grow into positions of leadership on projects. For local partners, we offer capacity building and technical assistance in financial and project management, including our Quality Management System.

Performance Management and Evaluation Services

Beginning with integrated performance monitoring and management plans, we design data collection processes that help us ensure projects are meeting targets and measuring their successes.

Knowledge Management and Communications Services

Working with a communications network of both home office and field-based staff, we collaborate to generate, share, and maintain knowledge, as well as document lessons learned across regions and technical areas. We employ the best of human- and technology-based solutions to collect data and help our projects share their stories and achieve development impact.

Program Design Services

Our approach to program design is research based, taking into account local contexts and demands, as well as employing our own regional and technical expertise. In keeping with our mission to promote meaningful and lasting change, we design sustainability or “exit” strategies into all our programs, focusing on local ownership and private sector buy-in when appropriate.
