Stationary Gas Detectors

Compur - Gas Detection Control Common Alarm Module

The All – Rounder in Gas Detection. No matter if you want to detect toxic or combustible gases: This control module works with any sensor head. It provides the power supply and processes the bridge signal of catalytic sensors as well as the 4 – 20 mA signal of transmitters. Three relays rated 8 A and a 4 – 20 mA output interface with peripheral instrumentation.

Compur - Gas Detector Self Tests with Gas

The Statox 560 might be one of the safest gas detectors at all. Functional safety level 2 – EN 61508 quantifies its low probability of failure on demand. Furthermore a self test with the target gas assures that a failure – how unlikely ever – will never go unnoticed. The self test is not only capable detecting a failure, but will also generate a maintenance request alert if necessary. This saves a lot of time for preventive maintenance.

Compur - Combustible Gas Detector

Protecting people and assets from hydrocarbons. The infrared absorption method of gas detection is ideal to detect hydrocarbons such as fuels. It features enough sensitivity to expand the range of application into the ppm range. For instance fuels such as gasoline, diesel or kerosene are mixtures of hydrocarbons.

Compur - Stationary Gas Detectors

No new units sold anymore. Compur Monitors does support all existing systems with spare parts, consumables and service now and in future!

Compur - Carbon Dioxide Gas Detector

Carbon dioxide detection in industrial plants:  Measuring range 0 – 5 % or 0 – 2 % vol. For Martians – provided they exist – a carbon dioxide atmosphere might be their natural habitat. We earthlings can only tolerate low concentrations of this gas. It is true that we are using the special properties of CO2 for many purposes, but in concentrations above 5000 ppm it can be hazardous to our health. Therefore it must be monitored.

Compur - Combustible Gas Detection

Monitoring the environment for explosive gases most of the time you would be looking for hydrocarbons. It is a characteristic of hydrocarbons that they have a number of C – H bonds. These bonds absorb infrared light at a wavelength of 3,4 mm ( unsaturated hydrocarbons absorb at 3,3 mm ). This effect can be used to reliably detect these substances. The most important advantage is that infrared detectors are resistant against catalyst poisons and high concentrations. They can even be used in oxygen free atmosphere.

Compur - Gas Detectors Sensor Heads

Fixed gas detection system for oxygen, toxic and combustible gases. Statox 501 Sensor Heads are operated with Statox 503 Control Modules. One safe controller for all gases: Any combination of a sensor head plus control module is a complete gas detection system. This makes the Statox 501 so safe and reliable. Statox 501 / 503 modular design also gives you the opportunity to alter or expand existing systems with minimum cost and labor. For all gases and measuring ranges are permanently stored in the memory of the controller. The user-friendly software program allows authorized personnel to select different configurations by a simple push of a button.

Compur - Stationary Gas Detectors

PIDs (Photo – Ionisation – Detectors) detect VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) in the ppm range, which other sensor types are unable to monitor, like solvents and fuels. A PID sensor uses high energy ultra violet light radiation to break gas molecules into radicals, which are discharged while passing a condenser. The discharge current increases proportional to the number of molecules, i. e. the gas concentration. The standard Statox 501 PID will detect all substances with a ionization energy below 10,6 eV PIDs are normally calibrated with Isobutene. Other gases will be detected with different sensitivity. These so - called response factors must be multiplied with the displayed concentration when adjusting span. Compur Monitors will adjust your Statox 501 PID individually to your application ex works.

Statox - Toxic Gas Detector

You always know what is going on in your plant: Gas detection system Statox 505 compliant to SIL 2 Standard. Intelligent Gas Sensors for AsH3, Cl2, ClO2, CO, COCl2, H2, H2S, HCl, HCN, HF, N2H4, NH3, NO2, O2, O3, PHand SO2. The Statox 505 new 4 – 20 mA Transmitter for toxic gases and oxygen features everything that a new gas detection instrument of the latest generation needs: State of the Art components (hardware and software), smart sensor technology, “heartbeat” sensor control and complete system diagnostics on board.

Compur - Control Module Stationary Gas Detectors

The Statox 502 Control Module has been replaced by the even better Control Module Statox 503.
