Cornelsen Umwelttechnologie GmbH products
In-Situ Conductive Heating
Cornelsen has undertaken one of the only in-situ thermal conductive heating projects in the UK together with Reconsite GmbH. This pilot scale project was conducted on a disused petrol filling station in the South of England for and with Arcadis Geraghty and Miller. A detailed case study will be uploaded in the near future.
Pneumatic Total Fluids Pumps
Cornelsen supply a range of SRX Remediation Pumps which are based on a simple, innovative design and built with field-proven components. The SRX is an air powered pump used to extract ground water or total fluids at variable rates equal to the well recharge rate. The SRX is available in 44mm and 88mm diameters for use in 2” and 4” wells. The SRX is also available as a top loading pump for recovering total fluids or bottom loading for dissolved phase and higher pumping rates. This pump is also available as a Landfill Pump.
Air Sparging Systems
Air sparging systems are typically deployed for the injection of air into the contamination groundwater to both oxygenate the groundwater to enhance natural biodegradation and, especially in the case of more volatile organics, to strip the organics from groundwater into the air stream.
Plastic and Steel Manual Filters
Cornelsen can supply Amiad’s ranges of plastic and steel housed filters, with a differing types & degrees of filtration. As with any filter, Cornelsen will be happy to offer a quote for installation.
Semi Automatic Filters
Cornelsen can supply Amaid’s exclusive range of semi-automatic filters to suit your application. Additionally, these cleaning assemblies can be installed into most existing Amiad plastic or steel housed filters, upgrading them to semi-automatic cleaning, eliminating the need to remove the filter from the housing to clean it, thus removing the need to take the process ‘off line’, meaning no interruption of the process water flow during cleaning. Cleaning is carried out by simply opening an exhaust valve and rotating a handle. The clogging indicator fitted to the housing indicates when the differential pressure across the filter element is above 0.5bar.
Disc Filters
The Amiad range of disc filters comprises sets of plastic discs stacked onto a hollow spring loaded spine. The raw water passes through the discs from the outside to the inside, trapping suspended solids between the layers as it does so. Multiple disc filter ‘pods’ can be supplied on pre-made manifolds, in what is known as ‘batteries’, to allow large flow rates.
Suction Scanning Filters
Fast, efficient self-cleaning technology for continuous flow of filtered water
Brushing Filters
This range of automatic brush filters use a pair of stainless steel or nylon brushes to remove the filter cake from the filter screen, once a predetermined differential pressure has been reached. Filter screens are constructed of perforated 316L stainless steel for filtration degrees 10mm – 1mm and 316L stainless steel wedge wire for 800micron to 200micron. The construction is capable of 10bar operation as standard, and 16bar by request, and stainless steel options are available.
Landfill Leachate Pumps
Landfill Leachate Pump
Landfill Pumps for Leachate Pumping and Gas Condensate Pumping in Landfills. The SRX LP is an air-powered pump used to extract leachate or gas condensate at variable rates equal to the well recharge rate. Pump flow rates are up to 35 l/min and operating temperatures up to 120 °C.
Active LNAPL Skimming - DGSI Skimmer Products
Density Skimmers
Density skimmers are used when there is less than 450mm of fluid from the bottom of the well to the water/product interface.
