The installation of the GSM / GPRS modem DD-SI-GSM is easy: Connect the serial cable to COM1 port of securityProbe. Then you have to insert in the easy to use securityProbe web interface the required parameters. Then you can issue SMS alerts from your data centre or server room via GSM modem. Furthermore you could also access the securityProbe via GPRS / GSM modem. The ideal solution if the network connection in your data centre did not work. The securityProbe can also use the GSM- GPRS- network for sending e-mail alerts and ftp.
