Environmental Protection Services
Dolphin Energy is committed to reducing its Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. Numerous initiatives have been launched in pursuit of this commitment. Emissions from the Ras Laffan plant’s boilers, heaters and incinerators are continuously monitored for emissions of nitrous oxides. A permit issued by the Qatar Ministry of Environment (MOE) limits the level of emissions allowed from each source. The performance of the plant is reviewed by the MOE on an annual basis.
Process Safety & Risk Management Services
Dolphin Energy`s HSE philosophy is to `strive to provide workplaces free from recognized hazards by adopting formal risk management programs to identify, evaluate and manage HSE and security risks`. One of the key responsibilities of HSE&S is to “establish a risk management program to ensure we understand HSE risks, to make better business decisions and manage risks effectively”.
Workplace Health & Safety Services
Workplace Health & Safety plays a very important role within HSE&S. It has a corporate responsibility and its main task is to establish strategies for the development and implementation of policies and plans for key workplace health, safety and security functions. Workplace Health & Safety manages the development and implementation of HSE&S Emergency Response & Management Plans/Procedures for the entire company. It interfaces with internal and external bodies to ensure effective management of emergency situations for the company and coordinates Crisis & Emergency Response / Management training and drills for the company in both the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
