Information Technology

Our software development team is technologically versatile; we have expertise in a variety of tools, from .NET to Java to open-source products. We use an Agile development approach and a Scrum-based process for most projects. This methodology focuses on iterative cycles of design, development, testing, and review, with a focus on delivering features early and often. Our Agile process also supports practicing at Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3. This ensures our software meets requirements, satisfies clients, and is of the highest quality.

Database Development/Management Services

Effective data management means more time spent on decision making—not information sifting. DPRA designs, develops, and administers databases that help our clients securely store and retrieve data. We design scalable databases that store data efficiently without compromising data security or performance.

Cybersecurity Services

Threats to cybersecurity are constantly evolving; as such, security remains a top priority throughout all of our work. Our certified and accredited security experts have extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications that meet the latest government agency security standards giving our clients the assurance they need whether facing the public or protecting national security. We have experience with RMF and DIACAP methodologies along with the necessary vulnerability scanning to create secure operational systems.

IT Project Support Services

We manage help desks (Tiers 1-3) to provide our customers with efficient and timely support, whether that be resetting user passwords or troubleshooting advanced technical issues. Custom Solutioning

Our innovative team is dedicated to finding solutions for our clients—even if that means building a solution from scratch. For over 20 years, DPRA has successfully imagined, designed, built, and fielded prototypes for the US DoD, other US federal agencies, and international clients. We are one of the few small businesses that have successfully prototyped for a DoD agency, and transitioned that prototype into a program of record that is still used today.

Digital Document Management Services

DPRA’s digital document management systems secure and store large volumes and provide advanced search and retrieval capabilities. Our equipment and procedures can quickly process large quantities of standard, oversized, and fragile documents. Our imaging process ensures every page is captured and processed with optical character recognition for full text searching. Our digital document management systems use a web-based user interface, similar to popular search engines, that allow users to quickly locate documents. DPRA’s search options allow for full text queries, or document identification from metadata that our analysts capture and enter for each document. We also find documents that are geo-referenced using a map-based interface.

Records Archiving and Management Services

Whether you are starting a new filing system or have a warehouse full of records, DPRA has the expertise to create and manage your files. DPRA specializes in tackling large legacy records projects, no matter what condition they are in. Our document analysts catalog and organize for imaging, archiving, and storage. If your company has paper records that must be archived at another location, DPRA has the experience to prepare the records for storage, complete the necessary paperwork, and prepare your records for final disposition. DPRA’s certified records managers and support staff ensure that your records management process meets all of the legal requirements for records management and archiving, including NARA, if applicable.
