OxiTHERM - Catalytic Oxidisers (CatOx)
By introducing a catalyst, thermal oxidation occurs at lower temperatures in the range between 450 and 600°C. This reduces the required energy. For small applications an electric heater can be used in the OxiTHERM™Cat oxidiser system instead of a burner.
NOxiTHERM - SCR Systems (DeNOx)
For the control of NOx emissions, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology provides the highest level of NOx reduction. In a NOxiTHERM™SCR system, urea or ammonia reductant is injected in front of a highly-selective SCR catalyst to reduce to NOx to nitrogen. A burner system and heat recovery are used to ensure the correct injection temperature.
NOxiTHERM - CCF Catalytic Candle Filter (DENOX/DEDUST)
NOxiTHERM™CCF is a new DeNOx technology particularly suited to applications with high dust loads. It combines SCR for high-efficiency NOx control with a rigid candle filter system for filtering particulate matter (PM). Upstream sorbent injection also enables the control of SO2, thereby minimising the risk of adverse reactions between sulphur and ammonia compounds. This “3-in-1” system offers a cost-effective solution for multi-pollutant treatment of waste gases from thermal processes.
