ECS develops geotechnical exploration programs in support of each client’s project. We know that what’s below the surface can be as crucial and complex as the structure it supports. The ECS Environmental Services Group has experience with due diligence requirements and knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations to help our clients manage specific environmental conditions that may be encountered on project sites.

Construction Materials Testing (CMT) describes several different types of services, but it primarily involves testing structural materials used to build a new project from the ground up, materials and components used to construct a new addition, or new components being added to an existing facility. These include earthwork, shallow and deep foundations, destructive and non-destructive concrete testing, wood construction observations, structural masonry, structural steel, sprayed-on fireproofing, exterior insulation and finishing systems (EIFs), roofing evaluation and testing, and asphalt pavement evaluation and testing.

The ECS Facilities Group provides a wide range of investigation and evaluation services for existing structures and associated areas (such as parking lots, curbs and sidewalks). Our services are designed to assist property owners, property managers, developers, financial institutions, contractors and prospective buyers.
