Environics Gas Flow Management Custom Options

Environics - Benchtop Gas Mixing and Gas Dilution System

The optional Benchtop configuration provides the same high quality you are accustomed to with Environics Gas Mixing and Gas Dilution Systems, but in a smaller package. Perfect for labs or for those with limited space. Most basic configurations are available with this design.

Environics - Canister Filling Option System

The Canister Filling option allows the gas mixing/dilution system to fill a canister to a particular pressure. The system will stop automatically when the desired pressure is reached, and even allows the desired pressure to be changed while filling. For most systems, this option uses a mechanical pressure switch, which is adjusted to the desired pressure.

Environics - Heated Flow Path

A Heated Flow Path is recommended to prevent surface adhesion of gases within the gas path. In addition to preventing adhesion, heating the gas path improved response time, reduces contamination and prolongs unit life. A heated flow path is often used in combination with silicon coating or the purge circuit.

Environics - Humidification Option System

The humidification option allows specific Relative Humidity (RH) levels to be added to the output gas of the system. RH levels between 0 - 95% can be achieved. The humidifier is factory calibrated for a specific RH level to an accuracy of 5% (assuming a constant flow rate and gas temperature), and is NIST traceable.

Environics - Permeation Oven

Customers decide to use permeation for several reasons. Some use this option to achieve low level concentrations. Others must use permeation because the gases or interest are not available in cylinders. Finally, the ease of obtaining and shipment permeation tubes in a benefit for many.

Environics - Silicon Coated Plumbing

Silicon surface treatment of the gas path eliminates surface adsorption of active compounds like sulfurs, H2S, ammonia and mercury on stainless steel surfaces. Also know as Silcosteel®/Sulfinert® or SilcoNert 1000/2000, coating the gas path also improved efficiency, reduces moisture contamination and prolongs unit life. A coating is often used in combination with a heated flow path and/or the purge circuit.
