EDI - Silicone Membrane Material
Material Features: High temperature resistance up to 350 °F (177 °C). Excellent uniformity and distribution of released air bubbles. Formulated for application specific condition. Good chemical compatibility in most municipal and industrial application. Available for tube and disc diffusers. UV protection inherent in the compound. Low dynamic wet pressure (DWP). Note: Not recommended for some ON/OFF applications.
EDI - Standard and High-Temperature Polyurethane Membrane
Available for FlexAir Pro tube and panel diffusers. Maximum mechanical strength and properties—will withstand harsh wastewater environments. Smooth surface characteristics inhibit fouling and prevents build-up of bio-solids. Excellent durability and chemical resistance. UV protection to resist UV rays before start-up of the system. long-term stability in DWP. Tested with over 2 million on/off cycles. No extractable oil content.

EDI - Fine Bubble Diffuser Systems
Fine Bubble diffuser systems disperse the diffused gas volume to transfer an equivalent amount of oxygen as a coarse bubble system. The diameter of gas bubble has a dramatic impact on surface area. Comparing 1 cubic foot of air used in fine, medium, and coarse bubble systems demonstrates why fine pore diffusers optimize the use of air and reduce energy consumption. This subsurface aeration technology introduces air into water via very small (or fine) bubbles ( The primary advantage of fine bubble technology is its high efficiency, capable of providing up to 10 lb/O2 Hp-Hr, making it 40–60% more efficient than most other aeration solutions.

62 mm and 91 mm diameter tube diffusers with standard length options from 250 mm to 1000 mm. Choice of PVC or CPVC material diffuser tubes available. Stainless Steel ¾” male pipe thread or plastic ¾” female pipe thread connections available. Premium quality membranes available in EPDM, PU, PTFE-infused Matrix Plus™, Silicone, or other specialty materials. Triple-check design minimizes entry of liquid/solids into air feed piping. High-capacity membrane option available for maximum air?ow and low operating pressure. Non-buoyant ?ow-thru design for reduced uplift and stress on mounting.
EDI - Fine Bubble Flexible Tube Membrane Diffuser
The EDI FlexAir Pro Magnum diffuser is a fine pore, flexible membrane diffuser that offers a superior design for optimal aeration capacity. It features a full circumferential perforated area and can be configured with standard or high-capacity perforations for increased aeration and mixing capacity and maximum SOTE. The diffuser is ideally suited for digesters and standard biological treatments that require efficient mixing and good oxygen transfer at lower operational costs.
