The ProSIAmpler is the world’s newest and most advanced Automated On-line Sampling System that offers substantial time savings for liquid-based processes. Eliminate offline pre-treatment with a fully integrated online sampling and pre-treatment system. The ProSIAmpler system pulls samples from the bioreactor, then undertakes the required pre-treatment on-line before sending the treated sample to the LC-MS Instrument.

FIAlab’s ProSIA Automated Liquid Handler (ALH) connects automated titer directly with sample pretreatment. The ProSIALH is a sampling and pretreatment solution that automates bioreactor peptide or glycan monitoring for the biopharmaceutical community. This technology helps reduce overheads, saves time, and cuts plastic usage. The ProSIALH does automated titer calculation and automatically adjusts the amount of sample pushed onto the purification column to match what the assay requires. The ProSIALH plugs directly into the LC-MS in a fully automated fashion.
Flow Cells
Fialab - Model SMA-Z Series - Micro-Volume Flow Cells
The SMA-Z Standard and Micro-Volume Flow Cells are designed for absorbance measurements where the monitored wavelengths are longer than 210 nm. These flow cells are available in 2.5, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100-mm optical path lengths.
Fialab - Long Path Flow Cells
The Long Path flow cell provides an optical absorbance path of 500 mm. Despite the long path, the flow cell is designed to provide a relatively small dead volume of 220 uL. Wetted parts on the Long Path flow cell are Plexiglas®, PEEK, quartz and Viton®. The Long Path flow cell is useful for low-level measurements, the most typical application being nutrient measurements for oceanography research.
Fialab - Model SMA-USP - Ultra-Short Path Cells
The Ultra Short Path flow cells are intended for measurements on optically dense (highly colored) solutions. This is made possible by a design that can accommodate extremely short optical path lengths. Wetted materials on the USP flow cell are quartz, PEEK or Delrin, and PTFE. Available optical path lengths are 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 mm.
Fialab - Model SMA-FL - Fluorescence Flow Cells
The SMA-FL Fluorescence flow cell provides an easy way of carrying out fluorescence measurements on a fiber optic spectrometer. The design is similar to the SMA-Z series absorbance cells, in that excitation light is sent into the flow cell via a fiber optic cable, and a second cable is used to collect the fluorescence emission light and direct it to the spectrometer. The SMA-FL cells are equipped with quartz optical windows that can be easily mounted and replaced.

FIAlab - Model AD-100 - Autodilutor
FIAlab’s AD-100 autodilutor is an automated unit for performing in-line dilution when combined with a FIAlyzer- 1000 Series or FIAlyzer-FLEX Series set-up. Calibration standards can be diluted from a stock solution, and samples can be diluted prior to a run and after the run. It utilizes a 12.5 mL syringe pump and 4-port switching valve; and has a dilution range of 2-100. The AD-100 connects the autosampler to the analyzer set-up and can be added to any new or existing FIAlyzer set-up. It is entirely software controlled. The AD-100 can also be utilized as a stand-alone dilution station.
