Fors Industrier AB is a Swedish company with a long history. The company was founded in 1964 at Bispgården in central Sweden, and initially worked solely with sub-contracted production. The Cable Granulator G96-1 was launched in 1998 as our first product in the recycling sector. The product group has subsequently been expanded with a hydraulic shear unit, the Cable Alligator CA 250, and a cable stripper, the Cable Stripper CS 3471.
Fors Industrier AB, FIAB, was registered in 1964 by Sven 'Smokey' Åsberg. 'Smokey' is perhaps better known for racetrack Scandinavian Raceway at Anderstorp Småland. Fors Industrier AB was located to Bispgården as a purely mercenary company with machining specialty and acquired early customers in Sundsvall and Soderhamn regions.
As the Fors Industrier AB in the early 1980s, took over the manufacturing of welded Lego components of a neighboring business, supplemented by the machinery so that even sheet metal and welding work could be performed.
In 1987 Fors Industrier manufacture MittCon lifting tables and tilting equipment as a subcontractor product.
1996 launched its own product RICC tail lifts and Fors Industries second-party certification according to EN ISO 9002 in the same year.
The equipment in the recycling area was presented in 1998 and the brand Firec introduced for these products.
From 2009 includes MittCon as a separate brand in Fors Industrier AB.
