Nano-Plotter - Model NP7-HV - Versatile Non-Contact Microarray Printers

The Nano-Plotter covers different product lines for liquid handling featuring piezoelectric Nanolitre pipettes. They work with a wide range of (bio-)chemical substances. These drop-on-demand pipettes serve the full volume range from below a few Picolitres up to Microlitres.

Nanolitre Dosage - Piezoelectric Microdispensers

GeSiM Nanolitre dispensers (also called pipettes or jets) follow the drop-on-demand principle, i.e., a drop is released exactly when the piezo ceramic actuator is triggered. This results in the bending of a silicon diaphragm behind the actuator and this in turn leads to a compression of the liquid inside the pump chamber and hence to the ejection of a droplet from the nozzle. After this, the ceramic returns to its initial state and the dispenser is refilled with liquid from the inlet. No valve is involved in this process.

µ-Contact - Model µCP6.1 - Microcontact Printers

GeSiM microcontact printers always combine two methods on one platform: a) Microcontact printing allows surface patterning down to 100 Nanometres and b) Nano Imprint Lithography (NIL) creates tiny 3D structures in polymers. Each µCP features polymer stamps with user specific patterns. An external casting station replicates consumed stamps to keep operating costs reasonably. Click the tab Procedures for details. All GeSiM microcontact printers offer identical stamping method by pneumatic actuation and Z-movement. The compact benchtop instruments are affordable, they don’t need expensive granite beds or damping tables.

GeSiM BioSyntheSizer - Multi-Synthesis Liquid Handling Robots

The compact GeSiM BioSyntheSizer manifests a new instrumentation concept for robots for complex laboratory automation on low-volume scale. It is a new, very compact lab automation platform whose goal is utmost flexibility. In the standard configuration it masters several different chemical syntheses simultaneously, as long as they fit in a liquid handling scheme. This, on the other hand, allows parallelization without having to make a new setup for each synthesis. 20 years of experience in the field of microfluidics and lab automation sets the BioSyntheSizer apart from common pipetting robots. Microfluidic Multi Cell Cultivation with Automatic Sample Handling

The Microfluidic Workstation (MW) is a benchtop robot with “flying” work deck. It is made to operate small transparent bio containments, e.g. SBS well format objects, microfluidic cartridges and others. It features two tool heads for optical inspection in both directions. The upper tool head operates all GeSiM made tools for liquid handling, Nanolitre pipetting and paste dispensing. Full 3d printing is given by the modular approach of GeSiM instruments. The recesses of the work decks accept carriers for arbitrary target formats.
