WHMIS Training

Our WHMIS program is offered both as a half day awareness/refresher course and as a 2 day Train the Trainer course. Our awareness/refresher course is offered through our public open registration or as an onsite company specific program. Our public open registration course is an awareness course that focuses on the basics of WHMIS. We cover labeling, MSDS, identification of hazards, the WHMIS symbols, responsibilities, exemptions, and much more. The structure of this course is such that the student learns in an open environment while having fun.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods Training

Global offers TDG training in many options. Aside from our Self Study and online options, we offer classroom training. Classroom training can be at the comfort of your workplace or at one of our many public classes. We offer a half day awareness or recertification program, a full-day initial or more detailed training course, a 2-day advanced or trainer re-certification, and a 4-day instructors course. We will also customize onsite training for any of the above options of classroom training when conducting it specifically for your company. This way we focus on your needs.

Custom Training

Global offers onsite customized training for all programs that are outlined in this section. Our customized programs include an initial qualification process that enables our instructor(s) to develop and conduct training that focuses on the exact needs of the workers, company, and the worksite. The qualification process includes a questionnaire that the company must complete prior to training. The questionnaire includes the types of products, hazards, or waste(s) onsite, training requirements, compliance issues, and any additional concerns and questions. We evaluate all aspects that relate to the course that the company has requested.

Hazardous Waste Management

Many regulations are in place both nationally and provincially that place severe onus on waste producers to take control of their waste, preventing its release to the environment. The responsibility is yours to know and live by them. Hazardous Waste Management-Level I is a full day course for managers, supervisors and all those who deal with the legalities and liabilities of waste management in British Columbia. With numerous years of knowledge and experience in the hazardous waste field, we will take you through the many rules, regulations and laws, how they apply to you and your firm.
