With the Herding FLEX series, all proven advantagesof pure surface filtration with the Herding® Sinter- Plate Filters are implemented in a compact and space-saving manner. The filter unit series is extremely flexible for volume flows of approx. 500 m3/h up to several 100,000 m3/h. The filter units of the FLEX series are equipped with vertically installed Sinter-Plate Filters. Depending on the requirements, Herding® DELTA, DELTA2 or HSL filter elements are being used. Unit safety and performance according to the current ATEXguidelines are coordinated with the unit operator, if required.

Herding COMP filter units allow users to make an application-oriented choice regarding compact filter units for applications with limited space. This concept consequently implements the idea of compact and flexible filter units. Herding COMP filter units can be used for applications up to approx. 6,000 m3/h. The unique user-friendly design approach results in easy access for operation and maintenance from the front as well as the low profile of the unit.

The Herding MAXX series offers all the provenbenefits of pure surface filtration with Herding® Sinter-Plate Filters for use in large volume flows. The large filter systems’ upper section can be designed either as a walk-in clean gas compartment or as a simple housing cover with access to the clean gas compartment. The connection to the clean gas duct is possible via a single interface.

Herding RESIST – Reliable and safe filtration through cylindrical design. For processes with very high demands on pressure resistance and easy cleanability. Herding RESIST characterizes the round design with the Herding filter unit portfolio. With the Sinter-Plate Filter as its core, the proven properties of pure surface filtration optimally combine with the required features and advantages of a round geometry.

The Herding PROCESS series combined with the Sinter-Plate Filter is the first choice if highest demands on filtration performance meet maximum requirements on the housing design. Herding PROCESS are high-quality welded constructions. They typically consist of the clean gas housing, the raw gas housing and the discharge system which are connected by defined flanges.

The patented Herding BETA provides proven Herding technology now for numerous applications in temperature ranges of up to 160 °C. Due to the reliable separation, even of finest particles, only a very low residual dust concentration of < 0.5 mg/Am³ remains after filtration. The Herding BETA is a dust EX zone barrier according to VDI 2263 and has a high chemical and remarkable pH resistance (1-10). Sterilization is possible without any problems. The filter elements are tested at a hundred percent rate and stand out due to the effective product separation on the surface – pure surface filtration with constant operation conditions.

The new Herding OMIKRON element for low volume flows adapts to your needs! Filter geometry and connection interface can be tailored to any application. This allows for easy integration into new and already existing systems. Be free to choose the installation direction according to the requirements of your process. The surface coating of the OMIKRON elements can be applied either on the outside or the inside. This results in maximum flexibility and pure productivity!

Clean-gas side, flameless and smoke-free pressure relief. Dust and solvents can be inflammable and explosive. The composition, particle size distribution and specific explosion characteristics of the various particulate materials in chemical often require a protection concept tailored to the application due to the resulting explosion hazard. Herding Filtertechnik provides the user with a wide-ranging portfolio of preventive and constructive safety technology for filter systems.

Herding FLAMEBREAK is an object protection for Herding ?lter systems in accordance with VdS 3445 data sheet (fire protection in filter units). In case of a fire breaking out in the filter unit, the fire is to be detected with suitable sensors, reported externally and directly on site, and fought by introducing the fire extinguishing substance into the filter unit. The task of the fire protection measure is to minimize the damage in case of a fire hazard.
