Hitema customized Big Chiller Model EEF.1000 is part of a project of 9 big machines designed for the Data Center application. These Chillers are equipped each with shell and tube evaporator, a 1000 liters carbon steel tank, two 30 kW pumps (one on duty and one stand-by with automatic rotation system) and two screw compressors. This unit mounts everything to assure the reliability needed in data center applications. The integrated free-cooling coils assure huge energy savings in this important installation site, where 9 units has been installed. The Boss mini system allows the chiller working together and the client to manage them from remote pc and from smartphones. Air-Cooled liquid chiller Model TFV.250 with oil free TURBOCOR compressor (1 x TT300), falling film evaporator, no. 4 high performance, Ec Fans with AXITOP diffuser for axial fans and high efficiency condenser coil v-configuration (available also with epoxy painted microchannel condenser coils).

Hitema customized chiller Model CFTW.075 is the solution where lack of space is a problem and can even pass through a door. Its compact design is possible thanks to the use of brazed plate evaporator and condenser. Even in this reduced space the presence of two scroll compressor assure the reliability of the system and the possibility to work at partial load, while the 2-way valve at condenser help to control the flow via the condensing pressure.

Everything in this unit is design for high efficiency: two screw compressors (one per circuit) with three partialization steps each, EC fans to better control the condensing temperature, optimized condenser coils to lower the condensing temperature and free-cooling coils to take advantage of the low temperatures in Russia. In addition the protection grid avoid stranger’s sabotage while filters protecting condenser avoid its fouling and preserve its chemical and mechanical properties. The chiller is shipped with reinforcement bars on the frame to avoid its deformation while loading it in containers/trucks.

Hitema Explosion-prof Chillers have been specifically designed for ATEX zone II 3G Ex h IIB T3 Gc. They mounts a pump, a by-pass for its protection and a gate valve on pump discharge for flow regulation. The blades of the fan are produced in PAA antistatic material to avoid sparks in case of fans collapse on its cap. The units is designed to work with 60°C ambient temperature.

This rental unit has been designed to satisfy a wide range of process fluid temperatures thanks also to the electronic expansion valves. The shell and tube evaporator mounts tubes with thickness 0,7mm and is equipped with a resistance in case of low water applications. The fan speed control and the electrical board heater allows the unit to work down to -25°C ambient temperature while the compressors jackets and box heavy reduce the noise of the compressors. The frame has been modified to simplify the handling operations, adding four section bars under the frame bottom. In the end the XWEB option from Dixell allows the remote maintenance of the chiller, very helpful for rental companies and for the end user.

Hitema condenserless chiller Model CWB1.350 has been designed to be installed where there is a lack of space. It is equipped with one refrigerant circuit, with one shell and tube evaporator, one screw compressor and one oil separator. The compressors shut off valves are extremely helpful in case of maintenance must be performed, while the spring antivibrating mounts allow to reduce the vibrations caused by components on the chillers, preventing refrigerant piping damages. Furthermore the electrical components are design for high temperatures and the high pressure prevention system reduce the load in case the condensing pressure raise too much. This extend the chiller operation envelope.

This green solution has been designed for countries where there are limitations regarding the amount of refrigerant into the refrigerant circuits. This unit have two refrigerant circuits with one scroll compressor, one brazed plate evaporator and one microchannel condenser each and this allow to charge around 7 kg of R32 (GWP 675) per circuit. There is the possibility to add up to 8 modules to the installation, each one with those characteristics providing a very reliable (each module can be isolated and removed guarantying continuity of operation) efficient and environmental friendly solution.

Freecooling liquid chiller with low GWP refrigerant, screw compressor and shell and tube evaporator. Ambient temperature 100% free-cooling at 0,5°C. With this refrigerant there isn’t any limitation from F-GAS regulation, in fact it is a great ecological substitute of R134a with GWP close to 1, and atmospheric lifetime estimated in 18 days (much lower of the 13 years of R134). It offers a very wide range of working area and the management of its flammability is simplified because R1234ze is not combustible below 30°C and also over 30°C the conditions to burn are unlikely (is generally considered non-flammable for transport and storage). Finally this unit demonstrate an high efficiency because this refrigerant proves to be more efficient than classic R134a by at least 3% with the state-of-the-art technologies and shows great potentiality to improve in the years to come.
