HazMat T&T®: Waste Management Software that tracks and manages hazardous, clinical or medical waste from the point of creation to the point of disposal, providing the customer with a system to improve efficiency, reduce costs, aid compliance and improve reporting.
Inspector®: A web based and mobile safety inspection solution that will schedule, manage, track and report on any Safety Inspections, Record Safety Observations and manage Corrective Actions.
IMEC Technologies brings over 20 years’ expertise to the field of mobile and tracking solutions to customers worldwide.
First established as Intermec Ireland, the company was initially a reseller of equipment and services for Intermec, the leader in handheld data capture devices. In the 1990s we became a fully independent business while remaining a Premier Partner and approved Global Service Provider for Intermec. At the same time we developed track and trace software systems for applications such as material tracking, asset tracking etc. We went on to develop a range of Automated Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) solutions, including our waste tracking system HazMat T&T, building on our expertise in wireless technology and networking. As IMEC Technologies expanded we established independent businesses in the US and UK to serve our new customers.
In 2007 all three business were merged under the IMEC Technologies brand and opened a new office in Urbana, Illinois, reflecting our focus on the rapidly growing North American customer base.
Today, IMEC Technologies continues to develop highly innovative compliance solutions for our customers in sectors as diverse as the oil industry, aviation and manufacturing. Our clients also continues to expand and now includes some of the world’s leading corporations, including G4S, Tesoro, Scottish Gas, Veolia and American Airlines. Our focus on providing value to our customers together with excellent service and technological leadership drives our development and ongoing growth.
Technical support is based in Dublin Ireland and Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. A single support number links both locations.
Support is available within each application provided by IMEC, users can simply log a support request directly from the App. We use a computerized system of logging support requests and customers can email support requests directly into the system as well as simply calling us on the telephone.
All support calls are logged and tracked and the support system is used as part of our quality system to aid us in our constant improvement processes.
