Containerized Sewage Treatment Plant
KLARO container.blue - Containerized Sewage Treatment Plant
Easy to transport (standard 20 ft container). Pre-engineered and modularized design. Quick set-up and take-down (plug-and-play). Low power use (1.2 kWh per treated 1,000 l). Designed to treat to 10,000 l per day. Parallel connection possible for bigger amounts of wastewater.
Parallel Connection
For the treatment of larger wastewater volumes, two or more KLARO container.blue systems are required. In such a case, the identically equipped systems are installed so as to operate in parallel. The systems operated in parallel are steadily fed with raw wastewater via a joint wastewater collection tank (1) and pump stations (2) (integrated in the wastewater collection tank or via external pump stations). This way, the irregular afflux may be balanced out and distributed equally to the systems. In the systems (3), the distributed wastewater is then treated via the innovative, modified SBR procedure before it is drained into receiving water (stream, river or lake).

KLARO - Quick Carrier System
KLARO-Quick is the carrier system by KLARO that can be mounted on top of your existing or new small wastewater treatment plant- in a simply way. It can even be installed by a single person. But our system offers many more.
Wastewater Treatment Plants
KLARO - Model Classic - Wastewater Treatment Plants
KLARO CLASSIC is the small wastewater treatment plant by KLARO in a concrete container. single or multiple container models from 4 PE to 500 PE, adjustable size, models for all types of vehicle accessibility available, all certifications, tested according to EN 12566-3, CE-certification, fast installation, because the technological equipment is already pre-installed in the container, energy-efficient due to fine-bubble pressure ventilation, realised in monolithic concrete containers.
KLARO - Model EASY - Wastewater Treatment Plants
KLARO EASY is the small wastewater treatment plant from KLARO in a plastic tank. We offer a 25-year warranty for our plastic containers, because we know that our products are powerful and durable.
Separation Technology
Grease Separator
In premises where wastewater containing fat and oil accumulates, the wastewater must be cleaned through a grease separator before it can be discharged into the drain. A grease separator operates according to the principle of phase separation. It consists of a separation zone, a fat collector, a sludge trap and a sampling point. The system reduces the flow rate of the wastewater so that solids, such as food wastes, sink and settle in the sludge trap. The contaminants with lower density than water, i.e. fats and oils, float on the water surface. The wastewater liberated from the fat is fed into the main drainage system. The choice of the nominal size of the separator is stipulated in EN 1825. In addition, it is necessary to comply with the wastewater regulations of the relevant local/water authority (e.g. emptying every 14 days; or monthly with local/water authority approval).
Accessories for Light Fluid Separators
All KLARO separator systems can be expanded with an upstream sludge collector. Additional sludge collectors are used for pre-filtration of contaminants contained in the water, whose density is greater than that of water. The contaminants are deposited on the bottom. In addition, larger floating material is already stopped here. The efficiency of the sludge collector is dependent on the surface area, the dwell time, the flow path and the volume. 50% of the sludge collector volume (with static water level) can be used for storage of the sludge. Once this level is reached, the contents of the sludge collector must be disposed of. Freed of coarse sediments and floating debris, the wastewater flows into the separator. The incoming volume of flow is regulated by a baffle and directed into the container with an optimized flow. This also initiates the sedimentation process.
Light Fluid Separators
A separator must be installed wherever water is contaminated with oil, grease and other light liquids. Separation systems are classified according to the NS (Norm Size). As soon as you make an inquiry for a separator with us, we will calculate your required NS, which describes the flow rate in litres per second. Operators of the following facilities must
Wastewater Treatment Plant - Process
KLARO - Sequencing-Batch-Reactor (SBR) Process System
SBR stands for "Sequence Batch Reactor". The process is also known as "Activation process in accumulation operation". The fully biological wastewater treatment is carried out with activated sludge; growth bodies are not required. The activated sludge consists mainly of microorganisms which decompose the pollutants dissolved in the wastewater. The special feature is that the clarification processes in the SBR-reactor do not take place spatially separated, but according to a time sequence ("clarification cycle"). The inflowing wastewater is collected by a buffer, purified in portions and discharged at the end of a treatment cycle.
KLARO - Small Sewage Treatment Plant and Purification Technology
The tried and tested: a two-stage, fully biological sewage treatment plant using the SBR process. The KLARO system is our "standard plant". It has been on the market since 2001 and has proven itself a thousand times over. Over the years, we have continuously developed the plant and added additional modules. The particular advantages of the KLARO are its robustness and flexibility. In sizes from 4 to 1500 PE. (more about the sizes). All types of waste water. Complete plant, retrofit.
