Automesh offers the largest and most effective filtering surface. The filter is made up of three chambers and two filter cartridges. Our electrical systems do away with linear displacement, which enables improvements in the cleaning system. The nozzles create a watertight area using 100% of the water flow from the backwashing. They can be made in ebonite for seawater and corrosive water.

Rotativo filters are manufactured with carbon steel or stainless steel. Its operation is fully automatic and we can manufacture it for PN16. The cleaning process is divided into four perfectly synchronized steps, which prevents contamination of the water that has already been filtered.

Autosenior features total rotation of the disc package during washing. It is manufactured in glass fibre reinforced polyamide and its components need no maintenance (except for the discs). Thanks to the patented design of its cover the closure is simple and easy to handle. The hexagonal shape morphology of its tower-structure support with equidistant holes ensures consistency in the washing of the entire surface of the filter discs.

Hydrocyclones perform their separation function by using the centrifugal force generated inside, as water is fed in at a tangent, at high speed. Particles with a higher specific weight than water are “trapped” in side pieces inside the hydrocyclone before falling into a holding tank located at the base of the equipment. Lama offers self-cleaning equipment, not included as standard. A manual operation key can also be installed to allow the accumulated dirt to be removed. A bracket can also be included to allow the particle separator to be easily installed at its permanent site. When free of dirt particles, the water is conveyed through the outlet and made available for sand, disc or screen filtering. We recommend that the hydrocyclone always be kept in a vertical position.

Filtration using low media filters, either through nozzles or collector arms, is the most exhaustive of all filter equipment. It is particularly indicated to lower the concentration of suspended solids and water turbidity. Our media filters are manufactured in carbon steel. They can be make in ebonite for seawater and corrosive water. Our media filters are made to measure by our technical department, this way Lama can adapt to any of our customers’ needs.

We manufacture microfiltration cartridge holders in glass fiber reinforced polyamide (GFRP). The cartridge holder is divided in two zones bypassed by the filter cartridges themselves: the area of water before it is filtered and the area of filtered water. Microfiltration has a smaller degree of retention than a conventional filter; the cartridges used have a pore size of 1-20 µm. The cartridges range from 10″ to 50″ and must be kept sealed at their ends, with the help of special joints and the compression provided by a spring manufactured in stainless steel.
