Laser micromachining is not just about the economic production of very small components. High-precision and gentle processing of sensitive products and materials is also important when it comes to quality criteria in medical technology, microelectronics or the jewelry industry. High-quality and burr-free cut edges are just as essential as the output quantity. LLT.micro integrates modularity and technologies to meet these challenges. The compact system combines positioning accuracies of up to ± 3 µm and highly dynamic direct drives with efficient fiber lasers and gentle ultra-short pulse lasers.

No matter what specific industry, reliable machine solutions are required in industrial manufacturing environments. This also counts for laser precision machining. A special challenge is the combination of robustness of the production equipment and the accuracy of the machining results. Added to this is the required cost-effectiveness of the technology used. LLT.preci offers a reliable machine concept that meets these high demands. By combining the fiber laser with scanner optics, the basic 3-axis machine can operate simultaneously with up to seven axes. Despite compact external dimensions, the large machining area can be scaled to up to 500 mm x 500 mm x 300 mm, depending on specific customer requirements.

Challenges in manufacturing and processing fine or precision tubes are complex. Especially high-tech industries such as medical technology, sensor technology or optics, expect not only high precision but also gentle treatment of sensitive and cost-intensive materials, as in the case of stents or hypotubes. LLT.tube was developed to meet these expectations. Due to the use of an ultrashort pulse laser, the heat-affected zone and the associated thermal stress on the material are minimal, as are the feasible dimensions of the cutting or drilling contours. The material retains the desired properties and residues such as melt are avoided.
