A RPZ (Reduced Pressure Zone) valve (Type BA back flow preventer) is used in most commercial and industrial applications requiring protection up to fluid category 4 to avoid back syphonage and pollution of drinking water distribution systems. In line with WRAS water regulations, it is required by law that RPZ valves are to be tested and certificated annually by a WRAS accredited tester and documentation provided to the local water authority.

In the UK the formation of scale in water systems costs the industry approximately 1 billion per year. Scale will shorten the life of boilers, pumps, shower heads, washing machines and any appliance that comes into contact with calcium and magnesium irons and heat. The water softening process removes the hardness minerals that cause hard scale by a process called Ion exchange. It removes the hardness minerals and replaces it with Sodium.

The MWS Water Master is an automatic dosing system designed to dose potable and domestic water systems. It is capable of delivering 0.5ppm (or more if required) Chlorine Dioxide residual levels on a wide range of applications. It includes a PLC controlled dosing unit that can be linked to a building management or on site alert system. The unit is pre-packaged and can be retro-fitted to most water systems.
