The MCP series, the multi-channel pipette calibration solutions from METTLER TOLEDO, are fast, flexible and precise – ideal for calibrating multi-channel but also single-channel pipettes. The dedicated calibration software ensures that pipettes are calibrated according to ISO 8655 and makes data handling for all calibrated pipettes easy and fast. As an example, a standard 12-channel pipette can now be calibrated in just 14 minutes (according to ISO 8655 *). A quick pipette check with four measurements per channel takes just six minutes.

The compact and complete calibration package includes one single MCP unit and a single channel set with an evaporation trap for quick calibration of single- and multi-channel pipettes. Thanks to its compact design and the robust carrying case, the MCP1-S is ideal for calibrating pipettes both in the laboratory and on-site at the user’s premises. It allows for a quick check prior to any experimental tasks where pipetting precision and accuracy are critical. Calibration is reliable and fast due to the built in evaporation trap and the automatic testing of all individual channels. Multi-channel pipettes with up to 12 channels can be calibrated up to 10 times faster than with traditional analytical balances and a performance test of a 12-channel pipette with 3 measurements of 2 individual volumes take less than 15min. With a capacity of 22 g and a readability of 1 µg, the XP26PC fulfills ISO 8655 requirements for micropipettes down to a volume of 1 µl. Operating efficiency is guaranteed by the light barrier which allows hands-free opening of the trap door. The built-in evaporation trap avoids errors caused by evaporation of the test liquid during weighing. System speed and throughput is further increased by the presence of a large waste container allowing for continuous pipetting without interruptions.
