Process Analytics - Turbidity Meter and Sensor, CO2 Sensor

Low to Medium Turbidity Measurement (Forward / 90° Light Technology)

For low to medium turbidity measurements the forward and 90° (side) scattered light sensors InPro8600 series have proven to deliver the most precise results. Both systems take advantage of one modern and user-friendly transmitter technology.

InPro - Model 8050 - Turbidity Sensor For Wastewater Applications

The InPro 8050 turbidity sensor is used for the measurement of suspended solids in industrial wastewater applications. A system is completed with a Trb8300 transmitter and an appropriate sensor housing such as InDip 550.

InPro - Model 8100 - Turbidity Sensors for Biotechnological Applications

The InPro 8100 turbidity sensor is used for the measurement of turbidity in biotechnological applications - typically biomass growth in fermenters (cell density). A system is completed with a Trb8300 transmitter and an appropriate sensor housing from the InFit or InTrac family.

InPro - Model 8300 - RAMS Series for Optical Product Monitor

The InPro 8300 RAMS (Reflection Absorption Multi-Switch) systems are designed for in-line use in phase separation and product identification applications by turbidity or color. The rugged InPro 8300 RAMS systems are simple to configure, easy to use and require minimal maintenance. These systems are widely used in brewery applications for beer/water separation, before the filler line and in separator control. For product identification, a “fingerprint” of each product is taken and stored in the InPro 8300 RAMS’ built-in memory. Fingerprinting is done using one or more parameters (e.g. blue transmittance, NIR reflection or green absorption). The InPro 8300 RAMS identifies up to eight different products.

Dissolved CO2 Sensors

METTLER TOLEDO`s advanced dissolved carbon dioxide (CO2) sensor series, InPro 5000i, is specially designed for use in sterile/hygienic processes (fermentation) in the pharmaceutical industry. Made of FDA-compliant materials, with highly polished surface finish to facilitate cleaning, they fully meet international regulations such as EHEDG.
