Future

The commitment to sustainability is growing and is spreading into more and more countries and markets. Besides major global businesses, who systematically maintain their reputations, an increasing number of smaller businesses have discovered the economic advantages of ecologically optimised production cycles. The growing trend is towards production without waste water. This is due to the rising cost of water as well as to stricter environmental laws. In this context, MKR is a future-oriented firm, not only in terms of know-how but also with respect to its production range. The plan to expand production capacities demonstrates how MKR is using this opportunity to grow and expand naturally.

In his career as a field agent in the chemical industry, Anderl Metzger soon recognised the economic potential of a sustainable economic use of liquids. In 1990, Anderl Metzger became an entrepreneur. The first product entering the market out of the one-man company MKR Metzger was a mobile high-performance filtration device for the removal of tramp oil and particulates from processing media.

Customer comments inspired further innovations for the economic recycling of processing liquids. Ultra-filtration techniques soon complemented the use of centrifuges. As a solution for the steadily increasing costs of waste disposal MKR focused on evaporation and in the most recent development also on the briquetting of swarf and grinding sludge. This turns these materials into valuable products as well.
