PeakTrace is a Sanger DNA sequencing basecaller and trace processor that provides better basecalling and improves the appearance and read length of DNA sequencing traces by up to 50%. The PeakTrace Basecaller works with all ABI sequencers including the ABI 377, ABI 310, ABI 3700,  ABI 3730, ABI 3730xl,  ABI 3100, ABI 3500, and ABI 3130.

PeakTrace:Box™ is a novel DNA basecalling system for improving the read length of sequencing traces collected on the ABI 377, 310, 3730 3730xl, 3700, 3100, 3130, 3500 and MegaBACE DNA sequencers.

The Auto PeakTrace 6 RP™ software is the remote processing version of the PeakTrace Basecalling software designed for smaller scale users. Auto PeakTrace 6 RP offers the same processing control and performance that is available via the standalone PeakTrace:Box systems with the exception of QualTrace III, Trace Reports and TraceTuner basecaller.

Nucleics in collaboration with Technelysium have released a version of PeakTrace RP integrated into the trace file viewer Chromas. This allows sequencing users to enhance Sanger .ab1 files with the PeakTrace Basecaller  when viewing traces files using the Chromas “enhance” button.

The QualTrace II™ DNA sequencing QC analysis program enables users to rapidly detect sequencing problems that limit sequence read length. The QualTrace software offers the following features: Real-time analysis of trace files and detection of nine different sequencing problem types.Compatibility with trace files produced by both the ABI base callers on the ABI and MegaBACE DNA sequencers. Easy integration into existing sequencing data pipeline and bioinformatics infrastructure. An ideal means for troubleshooting DNA sequencing problems and optimizing production protocols.

dLUTE SEQ™ is an unique DNA sequencing reagent developed by Nucleics allowing nanolitre scale DNA sequencing reactions to be performed using conventional microlitre scale fluidics equipment and protocols. dLUTE SEQ provides the following benefits over existing approaches to save on DNA sequencing premix chemistry: Sequencing reactions require as little as 25 nanolitres of ABI BigDye DNA sequencing premix reagent. This equivalent to a 1:320 dilution!. Reaction substrates are maintained at the optimum concentration resulting in longer reads and more robust results when sequencing DNA. Avoids the need for new high precision liquid handling equipment.
