For high elongation on medium strength material like TEXTILES the suitable equipment is one having a Constant Rate of Elongation (CRE), the total travel being sufficient to accommodate the high elongation.

As the yarns of different thickness are to be assessed, the spacing between the wraps is suitably selected so as to give a clearly distinguishable Pattern.
