PID Analyzers - Model PI51 & PI52 - PID Detector

The photoionization detector (PID) is used for the measurement of low (ppb) organic and inorganic species that can be ionized by the UV lamp (9.5, 10.6 & 11.7). Nearly 20,000 of these detectors have been sold worldwide since it was first released by HNU Systems in 1976. It has been used for the measurement of VOC’s in water (EPA method 602, EPA Method 50--, EPA Method SW846…, numerous OSHA methods), quality control.

PID Analyzers - Model 322 - Compact Lab Gas Chromatograph (GC) System

The Model 322 provides analytical capabilities unmatched by any other compact GC. The Model 322 dual-detector capability combined with its isothermal or temperature programmed oven, choice of injectors, and the ability to accommodate packed or capillary columns provides exceptional stability and flexibility for a wide range of environmental, laboratory, and mobile lab applications.

PID Analyzers - Model FI53 - Flame Ionization Detector (FID)

The flame ionization detector (FID) is used for the selective measurement of any organic species that can be ionized in a flame. This corresponds to most hydrocarbons and is described below: The Model 53 has an FID (burner with HV bias and collector), a power supply for the FID bias, an electrometer and gauges and flow control for the support gases for the FID. The electrometer output is 0-10 VDC. The customer needs a separate ADC channel to feed the signal into the GC’s data system. Alternately, PID Analyzers sells a data system (Model 53) that will feed the signal into a separate PC. The FID is a sensitive and very selective detector for hydrocarbons. It has the wide dynamic range (>106).

PID Analyzers - Model FUV54 - Far Ultraviolet Detector (FUV)

The far ultraviolet detector (FUV) is a nearly universal detector with ppb detection limits. The detector is described below: The Model 54 has a UV lamp (10.6eV), a UV photodiode, a HV power supply for the photodiode bias, and a logarithmic electrometer. The electrometer output is 0-10 VDC. The customer needs a separate ADC channel to feed the electrometer signal into the GC’s data system. Alternately, PID Analyzers sells a data system (Model --) that will feed the signal into a separate PC. The FUD is very sensitive and very selective detector for S or P compounds. It has the wide dynamic range (>106).

PID Analyzers - Model TC-55 - Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD)

The thermal conductivity detector (TCD) is a universal detector with a ppm to % level range. The detector is described below: The Model 55 has a thermal conductivity (TCD) cell with a sealed reference, a low voltage power supply, and a Wheatstone bridge with an electrometer. The electrometer output is 0-10 VDC. The customer needs a separate ADC channel to feed the electrometer signal into the GC’s data system. Alternately, PID Analyzers sells a data system (Model --) that will feed the signal into a separate PC. he TCD is sensitive (ppm) and a universal detector for most compounds. It has a wide dynamic range (>105).

PID Analyzers - Model FP56 - Flame Photometric Detector (FPD)

The flame photometric detector (FPD) is used for the selective measurement of any S or P species that can be burned in a flame to product chemiluminescence. This corresponds to either small molecules like H2S or PH3 or large pesticides containing S or P. The detector is described below: The Model 56 has an FPD (burner), a photomultiplier tube (PMT), a HV power supply for the PMT, an interference filter for S (394 nm or P 525 nm), an electrometer and gauges and flow control for the support gases for the FPD (H2 and air). The electrometer output is 0-10 VDC. The customer needs a separate ADC channel to feed the signal into the GC’s data system. Alternately, PID Analyzers sells a data system (Model --) that will feed the signal into a separate PC. The FPD is very sensitive and very selective detector for S or P compounds. It has the wide dynamic range (>106).
