Wall Systems Repair / Replacement

When it comes to building envelope repairs and maintenance, up against a wall is no place to be.

Stack Testing Services

Pinchin Environmental Ltd. offers a wide range of emission sampling services to clients in support of environmental audits, Ontario Ministry of the Environment (MOE) Certificate of Approval (Air) permits, compliance test programs, and abatement performance certification. Our sampling team has conducted hundreds of sampling programs following U.S. EPA, MOE, California Air Resources Board (CARB), and Environment Canada reference method protocols. Cost effective screening programs can also be developed where reference method testing is not required.

Asbestos Air Monitoring

On large projects, immediate on-site analysis may be available when rapid turnaround is required. All Pinchin PCM analysts participate in the IRSST round robin program for air sample analysis. Air Monitoring samples for PCM analysis are prepared and analyzed according to the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Method 7400 dated August 15, 1994. Sample analysis is performed using the "B" set of counting rules. It is important to note that in this method, fibres are not identified. All particles with a length greater than 5 micrometres, less than 3 micrometres in diameter and a length to diameter ratio of 3 to 1 or greater are included in the count. Fibres with diameters less than about 0.3 micrometres cannot be detected using this method regardless of length.

Environmental Noise Compliance and Abatement

The Ontario Environmental Protection Act (EPA) defines a contaminant to include sound or vibration. In order to obtain a Certificate of Approval (Air & Noise) (CofA) for your facility, you are, as a minimum, required to assess and document the impacts of the noise emissions from your facility on Point(s) of Reception (PORs) in comparison to specific sound level limits contained in published ministry Noise Pollution Control (NPC) guidance documents.
