Pollution Control Products Co. applications

At Pollution Control Products, we offer burn off ovens that are effective in the removal (sometimes called stripping) of paint and powder coatings from metal parts including hooks, racks and more. Below is a common application scenario for our ovens.

At Pollution Control Products, our burn off ovens are used for the safe removal of polymer buildup from expensive dies, molds, extrusion screws, breaker plates and other metal parts, eliminating the need for abrasives, toxic chemicals and their health and environmental risks. Below is a common application scenario for our ovens.

Pollution Control’s Burn Off Ovens have become an integral part of commercial paint and powder coating operations in the U.S. and abroad. These ovens are extremely safe and effective in the removal (sometimes called powder coating thermal stripping) of paint and powder coatings from metal parts including hooks, racks, steel jigs, fixtures, and hanging trees used to hold parts during paint operations on conveyorized paint and powder coating lines.

Polyurethanes bind, encapsulate, seal and insulate millions of parts and products throughout major industries such as Apparel, Appliances, Automotive, Furnishings, Electronics, Marine, Medical, Building and Construction. They are used in microcellular foam seals and gaskets, spray foam, durable elastomeric wheels and tires (such as roller coaster, escalator, shopping cart, elevator, and skateboard wheels), automotive suspension bushings, electrical potting compounds, high-performance adhesives, surface coatings and sealants, synthetic fibers (e.g., Spandex), carpet underlay, hard-plastic parts (e.g., for electronic instruments), hoses and more. In order to reclaim and recycle the myriad metal parts from these products, not to mention the molds and tooling used in their manufacture, these polymers must be removed.
