AquaGate+ - Model CH4 - Antimethanogenic Reactive Capping Technology

Developed in collaboration with AquaBlok, LTD subaqueous caps can be constructed more effectively by minimizing gas ebullition and contaminant methylation.

Provectus - Model ERD-CH4 - Liquid Antimethanogenic ERD Reagent

ERD-CH4 represents the most significant technology advancement in over a decade: it combines the proven chemistry with the power of the Provect-CH4® methanogen inhibitors to yield a truly unique liquid, antimethanogenic ERD reagent that contains 60% water soluble carbon.

Provectus - Model EZVI-CH4 - Antimethanogenic ISCR Technology for DNAPL Treatment

Antimethanogenic EZVI-CH4 uniquely combines the proven chemistry of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) EZVI Technology with the selective power of Provectus’ Provect-CH4® methanogen inhibitors to yield a genuinely new, antimethanogenic DNAPL technology that is capable of direct in situ destruction of source materials. It provides:

Provect - Model ABR - Aerobic Bioremediation Reagent

Provect-ABR is a proprietary soil amendment engineered to create ideal conditions for the aerobic biodegradation of various organic compounds such as select pesticides and total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHs – including gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, heating oil, bunker-C, and/or crude oil) that are present in contaminated soil, sediment or other solid wastes. It was developed by scientists at Provectus using their knowledge gained from decades of experience in the field of applied environmental biotechnology (Mueller et al., 1989, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1997; Pritchard et al., 1993).

Provect - Model EBR - In Situ Generator of Reactive Oxidants

EBR (US patent 9,975,156 B2) is a subsurface, electrokinetic system that continually generates within a reactor well (see inset) Fenton’s-like reagents and dissolved oxygen in a controlled manner, at neutral pH, and without the addition of exogenous chemicals. These colloidal (nanoscale) catalytic and reactive reagents are uniquely propagated via multiple mechanisms outside of the reactor wells (spaced ca. 4 to 7 m apart) into the aquifer. Provect-“EBR®” is a field-proven system that effectively integrates ISCO, microbiological, and geophysical mechanisms to treated contaminated aquifers.

Provect - Model IR - Antimethanogenic ISCR (In Situ Chemical Reduction) Reagent

Provect-IR is a unique mixture of reagents combined into a single product that optimizes the in-situ reductive dechlorination of chemicals present in soil, sediment, and groundwater. It acts by promoting synergistic interactions between:

Provect - Model IRM - Solid Antimethanogenic Reagent for ISCR and Heavy Metal Stabilization

Provect-IRM  employs this proven ISCR technology to facilitate established adsorption and precipitation reactions for heavy metal immobilization. It is composed of multiple reagents in a single product:

Provect - Model ORS - Oxygen Release Substrate

Provectus Oxygen Release Substrate (ORS) technology is a proprietary, field-proven source of dissolved oxygen plus inorganic nutrients (e.g., nitrogen) and buffer to enhance the aerobic degradation of groundwater contaminants such as petroleum hydrocarbons (e.g., BTEX, jet fuel, semivolatile organics, etc.). In the subsurface, the ORS materials will react with water to release oxygen slowly for a period of 3 to 6 months:

Provect - Model OX - Self Activating ISCO-Enhanced Bioremediation Reagent

Provect-OX is an in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) + enhanced bioremediation technology that combines persulfate with ferric iron in a single, premixed package. The persulfate is activated by ferric iron to create strong oxidizers including the sulfate radical and ferrate (Fe +4 to +6) that can address a wide variety of organic compounds present in impacted soil, sediment and groundwater, including chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and pesticides. This built-in activation method eliminates the need for traditional activation chemistries (e.g., hydrogen peroxide and sodium hydroxide) that have associated health, safety, and handling concerns.

Provect - Model OX2 - Extended Release Self-Activating ISCO / Enhanced Bioremediation Reagent

Provect-OX2™ is an in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) + enhanced bioremediation reagent that integrates an extended release source of potassium persulfate into the modern Provect-OX® formula. Ferric iron (Fe III) activation is used as a safe and effective means of activating the potassium and sodium persulfates (US Patent No. 9,126,245; patents pending). Similar to our original Provect-OX® technology, Provect-OX2™ oxidizes a wide variety of organic compounds present in impacted soil, sediment and groundwater, including chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and pesticides. However, Provect-OX2™ ensures extended release of oxidant throughout the treatment media.
