Automated Baling Systems
RM Group - Model HDB 800A - Horizontal Baling Systems
The HDB 800A system employs the ‘dolly’ (front ram working in conjunction with the main ejection ram) to stop the front end of the product falling away from the bale when pushed. It would fall away due to the fact that the material is pressed minimally during the vertical stroke to maintain the products properties for use, i.e. blowing for cavity wall filling etc. If pressed too much, places too much stress on the product and impairs its characteristics.
RM Group - Model HDB 800 - Horizontal Baling Systems
The HDB 800 is our flagship heavy duty baler with an 800 litre capacity main pressing chamber suitable for baling Wood Shavings, Rock Wool, Glass Wool and Sawdust. Here we have a 90% vertical and a 10% horizontal compression using hydraulic pressure of between 150 to 200 Bar, equating to around 15 tonnes of physical pressure exerted on the product being baled.
RM Group - Model WBD 300 - Horizontal Baling Systems
Also available is the WDB 300. This system has the same characteristics as the VDB300 but is a dual side-by-side configuration of vertical baler in the same frame, allowing customers to increase their throughput up to 480 bales an hour. Again, like the VDB 300, This is the vertical press baler suitable for peat or compost where you do not need as much pressure to compress the product in to a suitable sized bale. To give you an idea, the vertical press exerts around 7 tonnes of pressure as opposed to 15 tonnes produced in the horizontal press. The Twin baler is capable of baling up to 480 bales an hour.
RM Group - Model HDB 800L - Horizontal Baling Systems
Our second Heavy duty Baler the 800L has more longitudinal pressing to decrease the stress on the corners of the bag from product ‘memory’ wanting to push on the bag. It has a 800 Litre capacity, and has the ability to bale up to 300 bales an hour. The HDB 800L provides the ideal solution to baling Wood Cellulose or Natural Insulation Material.
