Audits & Assessments

SeaRoc consider it vital that audits directly reflect the site-specific constraints and project demands. The “Fit for Purpose” audit is designed to ensure that only safe and appropriate equipment is operated on site. SeaRoc offer both full warranty and site specific suitability surveys. SeaRoc are fully conversant with the wide range of Maritime Legislation and Management Systems relevant to offshore contruction projects. Our Master Mariners have experience in vessel and equipment auditing and have taken formal audit training and other specialist marine expertise, such as technical, safety, operations, personnel, engineering, demolition, diving, lifting and new build operations in the marine industry.

Marine Operations

We work with clients to develop a comprehensive marine strategy for projects. This includes: Optimisation of vessel spreads, Contingency planning, Management of offshore operations, Effective marine planning interfaces with other project processes, such as installation engineering, HSE management, and procurement of marine contractors and plant. SeaRoc assist clients in early engagement in planning of operations at sea to increase the safety and efficiency and help reduce project cost and risk.

Installation Engineering Services

SeaRoc’s team of engineers work with developers and contractors in developing innovative installation methodologies to reduce cost and improve safety. Our experience covers: Sea fastenings, Lifting operations, Cable lay, Vessel mooring, Foundation installation. We design installation systems, procedures and plant modifications tailored to project requirements and site conditions.

Risk Management Services

SeaRoc take a lifecycle approach to identification, monitoring, mitigation, and management of project risk. Our established systems for risk management assess the physical environment, metocean conditions, marine operation method statements, QHSE procedures, contracts and interface management strategy. We work with clients to ensure that project risk is apportioned appropriately with contractors, insurance underwriters, developers and financiers.

Emergency Response Services

SeaRoc has an in-depth knowledge of emergency response planning in a wide range of marine industry sectors. Our services include: Production of the emergency response plan, Working with stakeholders to produce the Emergency Response Cooperation Plan, Training requirement matrices, Setting up emergency control rooms. Contractor bridging documents to cover all emergency scenarios including pollution. To test the emergency procedures, vessel preparedness, personnel training and field communications, SeaRoc plan and facilitate regular field and tabletop exercises.

Safety Management Systems

Our HSE professionals can support clients in the preparation of documents and procedures to ensure legislative compliance and safe execution of projects. SeaRoc has, and continues, to work with major clients who express the need to update their internal procedures to meet the demands of working in an offshore environment. To this end, we are fully capable of delivering entire Safety Management Systems along with procedures and forms that represent best practice. To do this, we conduct a gap analysis of existing procedures, discuss with the client the required changes, and come to agreement on the way in which the system is to be developed. We have the experience of interfacing with the clients existing HSE procedures to form a project specific Safety Management System.
