Serapid - Model LinearBeam - Actuator for Heavy Load Transfer

SERAPID's LinearBeam is an advanced horizontal actuator engineered to handle the efficient transfer of heavy loads over long distances at high speeds. Utilizing SERAPID's renowned rigid-chain technology, the LinearBeam ensures reliable load propulsion with interlocking links that mimic the strength of a solid bar while offering flexibility during retraction. The actuator's innovative design allows the returning chain to be stored parallel to the transfer path, optimizing installation space and easing setup in confined environments. The LinearBeam is mechanically robust, boasting an energy efficiency rating between 80 to 90 percent, and requires low maintenance. It offers a highly adjustable stroke range starting from a minimum of 1 meter with no upper limit and can manage loads between 1 kN to over 160 kN. Certified for use in potentially explosive environments under ATEX Category II 2GD c T4, the LinearBeam is built for durability and high performance in challenging conditions like clean rooms, dusty areas, extreme temperatures, and chemically aggressive settings. The system provides precisely controlled positioning to the nearest millimeter and supports various motorization options including electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic configurations.

Serapid - Model RollBeam - Mechanical Linear Actuator for Heavy Load Transfer

The RollBeam series by SERAPID offers a range of mechanical linear actuators specifically designed for efficient push/pull applications and heavy load transfer in industrial environments. Known for its versatility, the RollBeam system utilizes a rigid chain composed of interlocking links that drive loads with the strength of a solid bar, while conveniently rolling up into a compact magazine during retraction. Depending on the application, the magazine can be vertically or horizontally positioned. This series covers load capacities up to 50 tons and provides practically unlimited stroke lengths. Multiple units can be combined for higher load capacities and optimized system configurations. The RollBeam’s telescopic operation ensures an unobstructed transfer area when not in use, enabling easy installation in confined spaces. It operates mechanically with a high energy efficiency rating of 80 to 90 percent, ensuring a long lifespan and low maintenance.
