A full range of services to provide underwater support for marine projects - welding , burning, shuttering & concreting, pile and fender removal / replacement, seabed surveys, inspections, concrete repairs.Shearwater have been carrying out this type of work since 1991 for various Local Councils, Engineering firms and Civils Contractors such as RJ McLeod, George Leslie, Mowlem Marine &  Edmund Nuttall to name but a few.

Working through partnering agreements and sub - contracts, Shearwater Marine Services provide essential diving & marine support to the bases in Faslane & Coulport, for both submarine squadron and surface ships.Since 1997 this has been a core part of Shearwater`s activities and a number of references from naval command and MoD staff testify to the innovative, efficient and cost effective service provided on often difficult circumstances.

Based in the Holy Loch at the entrance to the River Clyde from the Firth of Clyde. Shearwater are ideally located to provide underwater services to shipping utilising this busy waterway.We are able to offer our inspection & maintenance services to numerous clients flying both UK and foreign flags .With Lloyds accreditation for inwater surveys the local ferry companies - Caledonian MacBrayne and Western Ferries often utilse Shearwaters services for regular inspections, as well as the occasional callout to clear props and thrusters
