Strautmann Umwelttechnik GmbH

Strautmann Umwelttechnik GmbH

Strautmann Umwelttechnik GmbH was founded by the Strautmann group in Melle/Lower Saxony in 1993. Since then, Strautmann Umwelttechnik GmbH has been developing, manufacturing and distributing baling and briquetting presses for the volume reduction of recyclables such as cardboard packaging, film, PET bottles, expanded polystyrene (EPS) and residual waste. The product portfolio ranges from single-chamber and multi-chamber baling presses to semi-automatic and fully automatic baling presses. In Germany, the Strautmann briquetting presses are the leader in the beverage industry. Besides the drum presses, the rubbish bin presses and the roll container presses for residual waste complete the Strautmann product portfolio.

Year Founded:

Strautmann balers work with a time-control. That means that the bales are always compacted with full pressing force for a certain time. Due to that fact high bale densities and bale weights are reached. Thanks to the high bale density less consumables are needed and the effort and time for tying the bales is reduced.  Comparable models work with pressure-control. That means that as soon as the maximum pressure is reached for one moment during the press process the compaction process is stopped immediately and the press plate is lifted up. Due to that bale density is lower and thereby the effort for tying and transportation is higher.

Innovation for Progress!

Our innovative products are developed for the waste management market with ambition, motivation and enthusiasm. The long-life cycle of our products is as important for our customers as the security by marketing the compressed recyclables. We not only follow the aim of our customers „profitable waste management“ – we have made this our guiding principle “dispose profitably!”, says Günter Komesker, Managing Director.
