Superior Tank - Factory Powder Coated Bolted Steel Tanks
Superior Tank pioneered the use of factory powder coating on bolted steel storage tanks and our customers have been receiving the benefits ever since! Powder coating differs from other coatings as the dry powder is applied to the tank components, then heat cured before the parts leave the factory. Superior Tank was the first to apply Thermoset Fusion Bonded Powder Coatings to Bolted Steel Storage Tanks and since then we have made significant investment in the latest technology and processes to ensure we provide an extremely durable finish. Our main powder coating line is over 500’ long with seven distinct stages.
Superior Tank - Bolted Steel Storage Tanks for Potable Water
In addition to other coatings, Superior Tank also manufactures hot dipped galvanized (HDG) bolted steel storage tanks. Our hot dipped galvanized bolted tanks are primarily used for storage of potable water, water for fire protection, crude oil and irrigation water. We also offer hot dipped galvanized storage silos. Superior Tank is one of the few manufacturers in the United States able to provide hot dipped galvanized bolted tanks for potable water storage.
Superior Tank - Stainless Steel Bolted Tanks for Chemical Storage
As another storage tank alternative, Superior Tank offers 304 and 316 stainless steel storage tanks in both a bolted and welded tank design. Our stainless steel storage tanks are a great option for numerous applications and are designed to securely hold both very corrosive and non-corrosive liquids in a clean and sanitary manner. Stainless steel bolted storage tanks are used in industries such as food processing, agriculture and chemical storage as the stainless steel does not react with the tank contents. We offer stainless steel bolted tanks in a wide range of capacities and configurations to meet the project requirements. In addition to stainless steel liquid storage tanks we can also design stainless steel storage silos. For select applications, we can also provide tanks without coating.
