Climate Strategy

Swiss Climate`s consulting process begins by defining your corporate climate strategy. Serious CO2 management is based on a specific climate strategy that is lived actively by the company. Climate strategy is incorporated in the corporate strategy, defining guidelines and specific targets. It undergoes periodic review and revision.

Carbon Footprint

We help you to produce meaningful KPIs and then show you how to optimise your emissions. Climate-relevant greenhouse gases are grouped together in a so-called carbon footprint. Typical sources of carbon emissions include for example heating, electricity, business trips, commuting, paper, water and waste.

Carbon Reduction

We help you to continuously reduce the carbon emissions generated in the scope of your business activities. While helping to protect the climate and promote renewable energies, this also generates cost savings.

Carbon Offsetting

You can reduce your greenhouse gas emissions on a global scale, no matter where your company is located. Since it is nearly impossible to reduce the emissions of a company completely, offsetting offers the possibility of making corresponding emission reductions elsewhere in the world. All carbon emissions generated by products or companies can be rendered carbon-neutral by offsetting them with carbon credits.

External Audits

Only 34% of Switzerland`s 50 largest companies have their carbon footprint audited by an independent organisation (CDP Report Switzerland 2008). The share for small and medium sized companies is even much smaller.

Communication

`Do good and talk about it`: this is our principle for supporting companies in communicating their climate strategy. This not only has positive image effects but also makes staff, clients and partners more aware of climate change and motivates them to get more involved.
