Flue Gas CEM

Tekran - Model 3300Xi Series - Mercury CEM Electric Generating Unit

The Tekran Series 3300Xi Mercury CEM is in place at over 130 sources in the U.S. For every installation, we have met and exceeded all performance requirements for our customer’s state and federal regulations. Tekran® is the most experienced mercury monitoring resource in the world and continues to lead in mercury compliance monitoring, abatement system control and mobile testing systems.

Tekran - Model 3400 Series - Mercury CEM (HgCEM) Systems

The Tekran® Mercury CEM (HgCEM) Systems are currently operating at over 130 sources to comply with strict US EPA regulations. In addition, there are numerous installations in Asia and Europe. For every installation, we have met and exceeded all performance requirements for our customer’s state and federal regulations. The Series 3400 is designed to measure total gaseous mercury emissions, with optional components to measure total, elemental and ionic mercury in virtually any combustion source, with NIST traceability. The system is sensitive enough to measure levels at any coal fired power plant and is immune to the interferences that plague conventional mercury CEMs.

Flue Gas CEM - Measurement & Control

Tekran - Model 3400-ANLZ - Mercury Vapor Analyzer System

The Tekran® Model 3400-ANLZ mercury vapor analyzer is built specifically for measurement of stack gases and other elevated mercury source gases. The 3400-ANLZ is the cornerstone of Tekran® Hg CEM Systems, which have been installed at over 200 sites in the U.S. The 3400-ANLZ has proven accurate, stable, and reliable under the most remote and rugged conditions. Designed for years of continuous use, Tekran’s patented pure gold cartridge is immune to memory effects and will eliminate the host of interferences that plague direct AA or AF analyzers.

Tekran - Model 3400 HgCEM - Firmware-Based Controller

The 3400 HgCEM is controlled and operates using a robust and simple to operate embedded microprocessor, allowing full control of the entire system. All instrumental control is fully built into the analyzer firmware, so the system does not require a special software operation package. Adjustments to system operation settings are performed using simple terminal communications.

Flue Gas CEM - System Calibration

Tekran - Model 3310Xi for 3300Xi HgCEMS - Elemental Mercury Calibration Unit

The Tekran® 3300Xi HgCEMS includes an integrated, NIST traceable, elemental mercury generator for routine calibration through the entire system, by injecting gas in front of the probe filter. For regulatory monitoring requiring additional calibration resources, Tekran offers the Model 3310Xi Calibrator which is designed to seamlessly plug into the Model 3300Xi HgCEMS cabinet. The 3310Xi Calibrator will generate known elemental mercury concentrations using a NIST traceable, temperature controlled, saturated mercury vapor source. Precision mass flow controllers dilute the source output to the desired value. The Model 3310Xi Calibrator includes a host of advanced features that provide superior accuracy and allow unattended, remote operation. Tekran - Model 3300Xi - Modular Wall-Mounted Sample Conditioner for Mercury Emissions Monitoring

The New Tekran 3300Xi has the same proven components of the successful Tekran 3300. The Tekran 3300Xi is modular, simpler to install and maintain, includes the new Tekran 2537Xi detector and is operated with updated CEM+ software (Tekran 3321 pictured). The 3300Xi is the ideal platform for inlet- outlet control technology optimization, regulatory monitoring of mercury emissions and bench-scale laboratory research. The Tekran 3300Xi can be configured for determination of total mercury only, or for determination of mercury speciation (elemental mercury, oxidized mercury, and total mercury).

Tekran - Model 2537Xi - Continuous Mercury Vapor Analyzer

Electronics Platform: Network enabled. Touch screen interface. Local data storage and front panel USB port. Remote access (troubleshooting, control and configuration). Improved data and instrument parameter logging. Additional functionality via optional s/w plugins (std. additions, remote valve control, and much more).

Tekran - Model 3310 - Elemental Mercury Calibrator

The Tekran  Model 3310 Elemental Mercury Calibrator allows high level mercury monitoring systems to be accurately calibrated using elemental mercury. It integrates seamlessly with the Tekran Series 3300 speciating CEM, however it can also be used as a stand-alone mercury calibration system. The calibration source allows both multi-point calibrations and standard additions to be automatically initiated. The unit generates concentrations of mercury by using a NIST traceable temperature controlled saturated mercury vapor source. Precision mass flow controllers are used to dilute the output of this source to the desired value. The unit is capable of continuously generating large flow rates of calibration gas at virtually no ongoing cost - unlike expensive mercury calibration gas cylinders.

Tekran - Model 1304 - Air Filtration System

The Tekran Model 1304 Air Filtration System is an inexpensive, convenient conditioning unit for plant compressed air. The Series 3300 Mercury CEM requires two types of air in order to operate. Motive air is required to drive the inertial filter sample flow via an eductor. Zero Air is used for dilution and for the generation of calibration gas. Both types of air should be dry, oil free and particulate free, however the Zero Air is also scrubbed of all traces of mercury. The Model 1304 can supply enough air for two CEM systems. The long-life filter elements and mercury scrubbers are simple to change, inexpensive, and last in excess of one year under normal operating conditions.

Tekran - Model 1308 - Recirculating Water Conditioning System

The Tekrarr Model 1308 Recirculating Water Purification System is an inexpensive, convenient source of deionized, mercury-free water for the Series 3300Xi Mercury CEM. The system has two stages of pre-filtration to eliminate all particulate and organic contamination in the water. A reverse osmosis (R/O) unit then removes the bulk of ionic material. Two stages of finishing ion exchange (IX) resin filters then remove any remaining ionic compounds, including mercury. The R/O unit ensures that the final IX filters have extremely long life. The Model 1308 can supply enough water for up to four CEM systems. The long-life filter elements are simple to change, inexpensive, and can last for several years. (Lifetime may vary depending on original water charge supplied and flue gas matrix)
