The Razorback Wood Hog Is a Turbine Type Hammermill for Fast Wood or Biomass Fiber Processing.

The efficiency and safety of the EZ Access technology is now available for new wood hogs and as a retrofit to existing Jeffrey Rader machines. The Model WBE wood hogs have been redesigned with Jeffrey Rader`s exclusive EZ Access technology, which allows safe, fast, and easy access to the hammers, rotor, and liners. Now maintenance operators can safely and quickly clear plugged chutes to minimize downtime and perform routine maintenance with more saftey and ease. The new EZ Access technology also lets operators remove the wood hog`s rotor without removing the feed chute. This tehnology is available on new Jeffrey Rader Wood Hogs and can also be added as an upgrade to existing Jeffrey Rader Wood Hogs.

Horizontal Wood Hogs are supplied as an integrated system on a structural base with a drive system, conveyor, powered overhead feed roll, and controls. The feed conveyor can be vibrating, belt, or chain, depending on the material being handled.

Type E Shredders offer high capacity on light material. The Jeffrey Rader Type E shredder is designed for secondary and tertiery wood applications, where fine-finished product is required. Finished products are typically 1/4`, but can be less with certain applications.
