Todd Engineers services
Groundwater Planning Services
Over the past 30 years, Todd Groundwater has been engaged in the application of hydrogeology to groundwater issues arising in environmental (CEQA/NEPA) assessments and in land use planning documents such as general plans. The Sustainable Groundwater Management Act of 2014 represents a landmark in groundwater planning. It lays out a road map toward groundwater sustainability, including multiple intersections with CEQA and with land use planning.
Development
Todd Engineers is highly experienced in the siting, design, installation and testing of high capacity municipal supply wells and the development of groundwater resources.
Management Services
Let us help you develop and implement strategies to optimize water resources.
Groundwater Modeling
Todd Groundwater provides a full range of numerical and analytical modeling services to simulate surface water and groundwater flow and chemical fate and transport. For almost 30 years our highly experienced modeling staff have been applying mathematical models to simulate local and multi-basin hydrogeologic systems in order to predict flow conditions and solute fate and transport. A hydrogeologic conceptual model is often developed to support flow and/or solute transport modeling in complex hydrogeologic settings. We produce well-calibrated, technically-sound and scientifically-defensible models, which have been used for successful litigation support, groundwater development, and groundwater management.
Recycled Water
Growing uncertainty in traditional sources of water supply and better understanding of treatment technology, both at the treatment plant and underground, have led to increasing public acceptance of recycled water use. Recycled water is municipal wastewater that has been purified through multiple levels of treatment. Recycled water is required to comply with stringent regulations to ensure that it is safe for approved uses such as irrigation and groundwater replenishment.
