Voltea B.V. was founded in 2006 and is based in Sassenheim, the Netherlands. Voltea B.V. develops, commercializes, and installs capacitive deionization (CapDI) systems, based on a water desalination technology to remove dissolved salts from brackish water for applications ranging from industrial water re-use to residential water softening. Its CapDI systems are used for various applications, such as improving the sustainability of cooling systems by reducing their water and chemicals consumption; wastewater recycling primarily for agricultural use; domestic water softening; and the desalination of brackish groundwater to produce pure water for agriculture and drinking water for residential use. The company also installs systems for water reuse in commercial laundry facilities. Voltea aims to reinvent water treatment services and product options not only for our customers, but also for you, our valued partners
