CSST 100-HR Training Courses
This 100-Hour program is designed to enhance the career path for safety professionals who have experience in the construction field or those individuals who are seeking an entry level position as a field safety technician. This course covers all aspects of on-the job safety for the construction industry forming the basis for a well-rounded understanding of safety as it applies to this job perspective.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training
Safety Advantage is the provider of the OSHA 30 Construction training course, which will be taught by Authorized Outreach Trainers. The 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Program is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Training should emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. Instructional time must be a minimum of 30 hours.
Fire Extinguisher Training
Fire safety is more than knowing how to pull the alarm and evacuate a building. Fire safety includes reviewing fire prevention practices to avoid fire and reassessing the fire safety plan in the event of a fire. Safety Advantage offers Fire Extinguisher training, which will be taught by Authorized Trainers. We use portable fire simulators to teach students and employees how to properly assess fire hazards and extinguish them without ever lighting a real fire. Using classroom multimedia training tools, they learn the basic elements and classes of fire, how to evaluate and safely approach fires and how to effectively extinguish or escape – using state-of-the-art fire simulation software.
OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Training
Safety Advantage is the provider of the OSHA 10 Construction training course, which will be taught by Authorized Outreach Trainers. This training program is intended to provide entry level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site. Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. Instructional time must be a minimum of 10 hours.
