Master Safety Programs

Coordinated written programs submitted and maintained by Safety Advantage are guaranteed to pass reviews of all major third-party auditors – ISNetworld® RAVS® , Pacific Industrial Contractor Screening (PICS), PEC Premier, Safety Council Solutions and other council-based evaluators. Safety Advantage will complete the online self-audits and then upload programs directly to the auditor’s site. When all customized programs have received 100% scores, you will get a printed hard copy of programs and a copy in MS WORD & PDF on CD. The value of your contracts deserves experienced, dependable and proven support.

OSHA Training

The Client chooses what help they need: key person, competent person, train-the-trainer & safety leadership workshop. Safety Advantage can conduct onsite training or training in our training center to meet Client-specific training needs. We supply and use videos & multi-media tools; bilingual instructors to conduct classes such as new hire orientations & ongoing safety awareness strategies; motivational tools & customized behavior-based safety.

Target Safety Program

Target Safety is a program of daily toolbox safety meetings that also provides safety awareness, coordinated training, a Last Minute Risk Assessment, and individual sign-ins for Participants. The daily 5-10 minute safety training covers topics required by OSHA, as well as ISNetword, T-RAVS, PICS, PEC and other third party auditing requirements for contractors.

Audits and Job Site Inspections Training

Starting with a review of safety programs, training and accident prevention in place, we then recommend & develop solutions as required. We can support the Client’s in-house safety staff by providing on-call & standby safety management, training & Industrial hygiene professionals on an as-needed basis. OSHA’s construction standards require construction employers to have accident prevention programs that provide for frequent and regular inspection of the jobsites, materials, and equipment by competent persons designated by the employers. Construction safety inspections are the most effective means of identifying hazardous conditions at the worksite. Here at Safety Advantage, we identify potential OSHA violations, liability issues and risk exposures while assisting clients with mitigating hazards before they damage the reputation of your company and injure employees.

Supply Onsite Safety Technicians

Safety Advantage’s professional technicians deliver high quality training and experience to keep your job site safe. Technicians usually have their OSHA 500 and NCCER Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST) certification or project-required training and certifications to specifically support operations at your work location. Each technician is a MEDIC USA First Aid, CPR and AED instructor. Techs have extensive experience in field audits and training; behavior-based job safety observations; incident response and investigations. .Field training as needed for your supervisors and crew members is all part of the service. You will appreciate the personal experience, professionalism and team support that each Safety Advantage Technicians and consultant brings to the job site - especially in support of large, multi-trade and multi-employer projects.

CSST 100-HR Training Courses

This 100-Hour program is designed to enhance the career path for safety professionals who have experience in the construction field or those individuals who are seeking an entry level position as a field safety technician. This course covers all aspects of on-the job safety for the construction industry forming the basis for a well-rounded understanding of safety as it applies to this job perspective.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training

Safety Advantage is the provider of the OSHA 30 Construction training course, which will be taught by Authorized Outreach Trainers. The 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Program is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Training should emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. Instructional time must be a minimum of 30 hours.

Fire Extinguisher Training

Fire safety is more than knowing how to pull the alarm and evacuate a building. Fire safety includes reviewing fire prevention practices to avoid fire and reassessing the fire safety plan in the event of a fire. Safety Advantage offers Fire Extinguisher training, which will be taught by Authorized Trainers. We use portable fire simulators to teach students and employees how to properly assess fire hazards and extinguish them without ever lighting a real fire. Using classroom multimedia training tools, they learn the basic elements and classes of fire, how to evaluate and safely approach fires and how to effectively extinguish or escape – using state-of-the-art fire simulation software.

OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Training

Safety Advantage is the provider of the OSHA 10 Construction training course, which will be taught by Authorized Outreach Trainers. This training program is intended to provide entry level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site. Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. Instructional time must be a minimum of 10 hours.
