Charter PE 4710 Black SIDR pipe is made from rugged PE 4710 resin. It provides outstanding physical performance and is listed with NSF International for use in potable water applications.

Charter PE 4710 Black CTS pipe is made from rugged PE 4710 resin. It provides outstanding physical performance and is listed with NSF International for use in potable water applications. This pipe is joined with Stab Fittings or OD compression fittings designed for ASTM D2737 pipe. It is used for water service lines running from the main to the meter

Charter PE 4710 Black IPS pipe is made from high performance PE 4710 resins. It is listed by NSF as safe for drinking water applications and can be used in a wide variety of Industrial applications and pipeline rehabilitation. Heat fusion is the recommended method for joining this pipe. Mechanical or OD compression fittings designed for IPS pipe may be used. 

Charter PE 2708 (previously PE 2406) CTS & IPS pipe is made from a medium density PE 2708 yellow resin formulation listed in PPI TR4. It provides outstanding performance and is used extensively in natural gas Service and Distribution lines. It is also approved for use in Propane Gas Distribution.

There are four common sizing systems used for polyethylene pipe. Each has a recommended joining method. SIDR/IDR (Standard Inside Dimension Ratio) ASTM D 2239 - This pipe is sized based on inside diameter and should be joined with insert fittings and clamps or with special OD Fittings designed to meet ASTM D2239 specifications.
