AirCube - Model Basic Extra Touch -High-Volume Samplers
Equipped with a single-head diaphragm pump with pulsation dampener with a flow range from 1 to 28 liters per minute and with the ability to electronically compensation for pressure drops up to 700 mm / Hg over the full effective sampling range. All sampling parameters such as flow rate, sampling time and temperature standardization, can be set from the main menu. The new Air Cube Basic-Extra portable sampler can also be powered with the integrated battery pack of the PowerPack Cube series for sampling in sites not easily accessible from power sources, keeping the flow constant for about 6 hours of sampling with an average pressure drop on the sampling filter.

Certainly one of the most discussed topics is the environmental monitoring of asbestos fibers. All processes that in one way or another have contact with asbestos in their steps, automatically provide for personal or environmental monitoring to subsequently quantify the airborne fibers. Remediation, construction sites and excavation in tunnels are all applications where the AirCube Touch-Basic Extra sampler supports companies involved in this type of activity. For environmental sampling, membranes or pre-loaded cassettes with a diameter of 25mm can be used. Alternatively, in case of high dust concentrations, due to the various processes, it is also possible to use a larger filter diameter such as 47mm. The filter support will be positioned on a stand in a suitable predetermined point and connected to the AirCube constant flow sampler with flow between 6 and 10 l / min (max 16 l / min according to US-EPA protocol). The sampling time will depend on the duration of the operations and in any case necessary to reach a volume of not less than 3000 liters.
