Apex - Model DA Midi -Air Dryer
The midi Air Dryer is the Midpoint of our range of fryers, offering flow rates of up to 379 litres/min of dry air containing less than 1ppm CO2 concentrations. Like most of the products we offer there is the ability to have the machine build to suit your needs, the operating pressure of the unit can be set between 3.5 bar (50 psi) and 10 bar (150 psi) and the output dew point can be decreased to -73°C to give you the exacting gas you require. The midi dryer series takes the apex customisation to another level. In this series, you can get dry air with flow rates between 56 & 473 l/min. Using the lastest in PSA technology allows for output dew points as low as -70°C and less than 1ppm CO2 concentrations. With easy installation and a simple maintenance program, the Apex Air Dryer is perfect for any laboratory.
Utilising Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology our Air Dryers provide ideal performance, efficiency and reliability. Ultra dry air is delivered as required. The design of the dryers allows them to be easily wall or stand mounted. Our Air dryers provide flexibility to match your system requirements. Each system can deliver a variety of flow rates and pressures to suit your specifications.

Air from an external source enters the generator via the inlet filters. Air then enter the first scrubber tower via a solenoid valve. After passing through the dryer tower the now dry air exits the system via an outlet filter and regulator. A portion of the outlet air is diverted into the second scrubber tower to purge it ready for use. At regular intervals the active tower switches allowing each tower to be purged in turn.
